Zynga has announced its second “Oh, What Fun!” holiday charity campaign. This year, the social and mobile game developer has partnered with Heifer International to end hunger and poverty via multiple in-game promotions. From now until December 31, players in eight of Zynga’s games will be able to donate to the Oh, What Fun! campaign by making special in-game purchases of limited edition content.

The campaign is now rolling out to CityVille, CastleVille, Pioneer Trail, Bubble Safari, Ayakashi, Hidden Shadows, Zynga Poker and ChefVille. Each campaign is different, depending on the theme of the original game. For instance, CastleVille players can purchase three Heifer International animals, a goat, buffalo and llama, for use in their kingdoms.

Over in Zynga Poker, players can donate up to 15 percent of their in-game winnings to a group donation pot, with an overall goal set at two trillion chips. If that goal is met before the end of the campaign, Heifer International will receive $100,000.

Zynga will donate 100 percent of its share of the sales of these virtual items to Heifer, and thanks to an unnamed “generous supporter,” Heifer says donations will be matched up to $400,000.

The full breakdown of events is available on Zynga’s blog. Check out the video before for more on Zynga’s partnership with Heifer International.
