Departures And Travel + Leisure Close Banner Year With A Strong Uptick In Advertising

NEW YORK, NY (December 2, 2013) Travel + Leisure and DEPARTURES Group Publishing Director Steven DeLuca announced that these two leading brands capped off an extremely successful year cornering the luxury and travel markets with significant increases in both paging and revenue. DEPARTURES magazine set the pace boasting a 12 percent gain in paging and a 17 percent gain in revenue for 2013, making this the third consecutive year of growth for the publication as it gears up for its 25th anniversary in 2014. The November/December issue was the largest of the year, carrying 163 pages versus 155 in the same issue last year. The issue features new advertisers, Lanvin, Berluti, and Johnnie Walker, as well as introduces a new Waldorf Astoria campaign.
