Google Launches Google Social Search

Google has rolled out a new Google Labs project this week—Google Social Search—which links a user’s search to his or her personal contacts in products like Gmail, Google Talk, Twitter and FriendFeed.

The new search tool id designed to help users find any online content (blogs, social media sites, etc.) posted by their friends and colleagues.

Users must have a Google profile in order to access Google Social Search.
