Summit Business Media Selects ProCirc B2B for Circulation Outsourcing

(Press Release) TAMPA, FL, February 22, 2012—ProCirc B2B has been selected to provide full-service circulation outsourcing for the print and digital editions of Summit Business Media’s B-to-B magazines.

Summit Business Media represents a major addition to the rapidly growing client base of ProCirc B2B, the dedicated B-to-B division founded in February 2011 by ProCirc, the nation’s leading full-service circulation/audience development outsourcing company.

Summit joins current ProCirc B2B clients Lebhar-Friedman, F&W Media’s B-to-B magazines and USFR Media Group. More clients are soon to be announced, according to ProCirc B2B President Lynn Bushell.

Summit Business Media, the leading B-to-B media and information company serving the insurance, financial, legal and investment advisory markets, publishes 14 magazines, extensive suites of vertical enewsletters and 150 reference titles; operates more than 30 Web sites; and hosts a dozen industry conferences. Summit is headquartered in New York City, with 10 offices across the United States.

Summit’s print magazines include National Underwriter Property & Casualty, National Underwriter Life & Health, Life Insurance Selling, Benefits Selling, Senior Market Advisor, American Agent & Broker, Claims Magazine, Tech Decisions, Investment Advisor, Research Magazine, Futures, Treasury & Risk, InsideCounsel and paid weekly Credit Union Times.

“Summit Business Media’s mission is to be ‘The Next Generation of Business Information,’ across our digital, print and event platforms, for executives and practitioners in our vertical markets and for our marketer customers,” said John Whelan, Executive Vice President, Media Division for Summit Business Media. “Highly effective, efficient resources management is more critical than ever as we continue aggressive expansion of our digital platform and drive audience across our media, data and event offerings. Partnering with ProCirc B2B will ensure dedicated, best-practices circulation management and marketing for the critical print and digital editions of our magazines, enabling our internal teams—including our audience development team led by Lynn Kruetzkamp—to focus on our digital platform and integration initiatives.”

“We are very proud to be chosen as Summit Business Media’s circulation partner,” said ProCirc B2B’s Bushell. “This further underscores the strength of ProCirc B2B’s mission and value proposition of providing highest-caliber, dedicated B-to-B circulation management and audience development expertise and services, combined with operational and marketing scale efficiencies made possible through the shared infrastructure, supplier relationships and purchasing networks of ProCirc B2B and our parent, ProCirc. We believe that our rapid expansion speaks both to our success in delivering on that value proposition and to the B-to-B media industry’s growing need for the solution that we envisioned and implemented.”
