Counting My Blessings!

It’s that time of year to reflect and give thanks. And oh my goodness, I have much to be thankful for.

On the personal side, Denny and I are both well and busy. We’re just back from a Danube river cruise that brought us both rest and rejuvenation. Denny is excited as his new book “Write Everything Right!” is now in production and will be published by DMIQ in early 2014.

The Target Marketing Group — of which DMIQ is a part — was honored last month by the Direct Marketing Club of New York in “Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to the New York Direct Marketing Community.” It was a happy occasion.

The re-launch of Who’s Mailing What! was a huge focus for us in 2013, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the reaction it is getting! This was such a team effort, and I am blessed to work with an extraordinary group of people who worked tirelessly to make this new “Fort Knox of direct mail and email campaigns” such a success.

Speaking of the team here at DMIQ, I must tell you that our Chief Content Officer Ethan Boldt is leaving us. I know: It’s a bummer for us, but a great opportunity for him. He was recruited by Rodale Inc., and it’s a fabulous fit combining his past experience in health and fitness publications as well as his direct mail expertise. (See his message below.)

Ethan will always be part of the DMIQ family, and we look forward to watching his success. Who knows, perhaps he’ll be back on DMIQ webinars as a guest panelist instead of the host! Plus … we’ll expect even greater things from Rodale with him on board.
