  • On cultivating high email engagement: “Users have become very sophisticated. They don’t want to just get every email that everybody gets. No more batch and blast, they expect to get things that are relevant to them.”
  • Tip No. 1 of three for choosing an email service provider (ESP): “You’re going to meet with these folks on a regular basis. You want to make sure that you have a relationship that’s really good and solid.”
