People move to new addresses everyday, but if marketers don’t have the correct change of address information, direct mail becomes undeliverable, environmentally wasteful and costly for both the marketer and USPS.
In response to this challenge, data quality and address management solutions company Melissa Data of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. recently announced AddressPlus, the new—and free—addition to its address verification API and MAILERS+4 postal automation software.
The software analyzes residential addresses and will append or correct records with the proper apartment number. AddressPlus can also be used with the USPS’ USPS Suite software to append or correct records for business addresses.
