The Interactive Advertising Bureau has announced the lineup for its NewFronts presentation on the West Coast.

The lineup, touted by IAB as the “initial” 14 media companies that are now on board, will include the Los Angeles Times, Snap, Inc., the Ellen Digital Network and The New York Times.

Unlike the East Coast version in New York, the event on Oct. 9 and 10 will be held at the same location at the NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles under the theme Hello, LA: Where Ideas Meet Content.

Some presenters scheduled to participate in L.A. have already given presentations at the East Coast event, which had more than 15 media companies as part of the schedule.

Presenting again in L.A. will be Digitas, The New York Times, Meredith Corporation, Vice and Viacom Digital Studios.

The Ellen Digital Network held an “EllenFronts” in New York at the same time as the NewFronts, but it was not part of the official IAB programming. It will present again in L.A., as will FameBit By YouTube. YouTube also took part in the New York NewFronts.

Newcomers include:

  • Gallery Media Group (PureWow, ONE37pm)
  • Jukin Media (which dropped out of the New York NewFronts)
  • LiveXLive Media, Inc.
  • Los Angeles Times
  • Snap Inc.
  • SoulPancake
  • Unity Technologies

“Hollywood has a successful history in captivating audiences all over the world, and the NewFronts West lineup of big-name media companies, digital native pioneers and technology partners is sure to continue that long tradition,” said Anna Bager, executive vice president, industry initiatives, IAB, in a statement.
